LATERAL HAZARDS … Red stakes.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR and ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE AREAS … Blue stakes and/or Blue lines, or Blue and White stakes, where relief must be taken.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS ... Free drop, one club-length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, all roads (except hole 10, where relief can only be taken under Penalty), paths, drainage grills, steps, permanent buildings and walls except those defining out of bounds.

INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE …Such as culverts, bridge supports, boundary fences and walls, a ball must be played as it lies or declared unplayable under penalty of one stroke.  Rule 28.

STONES, OLIVES and PINE CONES IN BUNKERS … Are moveable obstructions. Rule 24-1.

FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS … All sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the Player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows: if the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which is (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on the putting green.

1st, 2nd and 7th HOLES BOUNDARY FENCES … A ball coming to rest beyond any boundary fences along the road running through the course by the 2nd fairway is out of bounds.

2nd HOLE BOUNDARY FENCE … Ground alongside the fence on the left by the road is marked ground under repair and the Player is entitled to a free drop, one club-length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole. Rule 25.

DROPPING ZONES … (15th, 16th & 17th)  15th For the pond behind the green only, a dropping point is provided to the right of the pond.  On the 16th for the GUR on the left of the cart track a dropping area is provided before the area to the right of the track, where free relief can be taken or ball played as it lies. 17th If the ball is lost from the tee to the green or found and defined unplayable, the Player may as an additional option, drop a ball under penalty of one stoke in the Drop Zone near the bridge.

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES … For all play at the course a Player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a Player uses the distance measure device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions the penalty is disqualification under Rule 14-3.

PREFERRED LIES …To promote fair play in adverse conditions a Competition Committee may apply Preferred Lies. The Committee shall then in detail define where and how this is available.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES … Match play – Loss of hole;  Stroke play – Two Strokes.
